Some of the team stayed in Vancouver and celebrated together while some, like overtime scoring hero Sidney Crosby, immediately departed the city and returned to their N.H.L. clubs. Kumar’s Olympic torch run was delayed as protesters were blocking Yonge St. The Bollywood star was personally invited to Canada to participate in the torch relay by Prime Minister Stephen Harper on his recent visit to India.
