The reclusive Stephen King makes a rare appearance in Toronto for book signing

(June 7-07) We waited for hours on Stephen King to emerge from his downtown hotel. He did not and I knew that he was in-house. That bothered the day lights out of me that we wasted all this time and I had to pay staff and had nothing to show for it. The next day proved to be a very successful day. We saw King leaving for a pre-awards party and he signed 1 per person for myself and staff members on hand. We then approached him as he left the party and he signed another one each and took photos with each of us. We were lucky enough to see him once again after the ceremony where I got him to sign the sweet-spot of a baseball.
All in all we did very well with King and got some really unique items signed including; first edition books, baseballs and even a Boston Red Sox jersey signed.
