President Obama goes up the Hill and is mobbed by autograph hounds – The Republican Congress members

HoundsTV.com story about U.S. Presidents and Obama signing autographs
President Obama took another step up the Hill today looking for Republican Congress members support and signatures on his now-$825 billion economic stimulus package.

The funny thing – it was the congress members looking for his signature. According to this report in the examiner:

As reported by an eye-witness Member of the minority, Mr. Obama instead got mobbed by drooling Republicans clamoring for his autograph.

The jockeying for position in line made the travesty seem almost endless, at least for those Republicans who still believe both, or either, they or their GOP still have any dignity after this sordid event.

  1. [...] We can’t deny a certain glee around HoundsTV when we hear the stories of congressman, lawmakers, and Washington’s elite up on Capitol Hill clamoring to get President Obama to autograph anything at chance they get. We’ve noticed for a while how very in-demand the current Presidents autograph is. These guys just help prove that. The media didn’t wait long first reporting on that autograph trend. [...]
