You have to let your "client" mingle with the crowd, but at the same time we know that there are some very unstable people out there who may want to harm your client. This is why at times you see a bodyguard over-react; too many people to close to the client, and not enough guards. When you feel you are being cornered and it's your responsibility to provide the protection, your response will be fear based. The training standards for the industry have changed dramatically over the past 8-10 years. These days we are looking for individual who can think on their feet, speak several languages, and yes, depending on the location you will be working, we also look for individuals who have excellent driving skills and can use a firearm.
