The Diceman Cometh, but not Giveth – Comedian Andrew Dice Clay exits Massey Hall, Toronto and blows off autograph requests
December 28, 2008 by Richard Budman ·

TORONTO (HoundsTV) – Comic Andrew Dice Clay brought a raunchy set to Massey Hall, Toronto then quickly exited the venue stage doors blowing off autograph requests from the few waiting fans. The Diceman stopped for a second to pose for a photo and in that famous Brooklyn accent remarked, “sorry guys, not doin’ the autographs.”
Not sure why the Diceman was playing tough with the autographs in Toronto since there was only a very few collectors waiting outside of Massey with some of Clay’s old comedy albums.
One autograph collector, at Massey Hall hours earlier when Dice went in, remarked he also did not stop and sign then either.
If your asking yourself, Clay who? The Diceman had a good run in the late eighties and nineties selling out 20,000 seat arenas. Judging by the nearly full Massey Hall house (about 2,000) – his iconic status to some seems secure.
