Bollywood mania comes to Toronto – Chandni Chowk to China premiere with Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone

TORONTO (HoundsTV) January 9, 2009 – It was Bollywood mania in Toronto as Chandni Chowk to China celebrated a Canadian premiere with stars Akshay Kumar and the beautiful Deepika Padukone in attendance.
Under a sea of security, the stars and director of the film arrived to hundreds of fans waiting outside the downtown AMC theatre where they stopped and signed autographs and posed for pictures. Kumar, Padukone and director Nikhil Advani were then whisked upstairs for a press packed red carpet.
Chandni Chowk to China opens this Friday, January 16th and owing to the exploding popularity of Bollywood films in North America – will be the widest ever release of a Bollywood film in the U.S. and Canada.
